Online one-stop on every portal needs a My Number Card (マイナンバーカード) and the Digital Agency "マイナポータル" app on a card-reading smartphone. Without a card, you submit the paper one-stop form by post instead. Payment methods differ municipality by municipality, so confirm the options on each gift's own page.
Which should you pick?
Since portal points ended in October 2025, the choice comes down to selection, ease of the one-stop flow, and whether you already have an account. If you use Rakuten, its familiar checkout is the path of least resistance. If you want the simplest application, Satofull is beginner-friendly. If you want the broadest catalogue, Furusato Choice has the most municipalities.
